le blog de betty. and obama.

righteous.

1 part tropicana pulp-free orange juice
1 part cranberry juice
1 part blue gatorade
four ice cubes
go gulp down a nice tall alcohol free drink. packed full of instant deliciousness, not to mention a bazillion awesome vitamins, this seriously can be even more rewarding than a drink brimming with Malibu.

watched the debate last night...

with that said, i have a quote for your beady eyes to feast upon..
"those who do nothing forfeit their right to complain"
i challenge you to vote. not because you think you're going to win. but because you think you have the chance of losing. otherwise, your campaign of complaints is inaudible, muffled under your effortless spirit. so go ahead and vote, loser.

okay next topic: le blog de betty.

every day she posts a new picture sportin a sweet set of attire. she gives you a few ingredients and voila a million and four ways to sport the same dress. the quality of the photographs are spell binding AND you can brush up on your French in the process with the blog in English and French. oui, merci!

well i hope everyone has a splendid day. i'm skipping my classes for the remainder of the week and enjoying a good few days in Keller, TX. oh the places i go...

i think i'll settle down with my righteous glass of glory and a banana and peanut butter wrap.

ps-vote.

Bicycles.

Okay. So, Moms is coming to town for parent's weekend. This should be interesting. I am sure she has already gone into an excel-induced coma and by this point has scheduled every moment accordingly. As long as it's color coated.

SO these bikes rock. Vintage look, vintage price but durable. Bobbin Bicycles is a bicycle corporation in the UK. BUT no worries world travelers, they ship. I think I'll purchase the one with a basket. My birthday is coming up. 17 days to be exact. Goody gum drops.

Hope to see one of your sorry souls out at the parents weekend BBQ later this svening. I also pray that your parents do not feel the need to structure your life on an excel spreadsheet. Some of us don't have that pleasure of experiencing life Personality A-less. Piss off.

LOVE.

Caffeine.

It's official, I'm addicted. Is it such a travesty that it's absolutely vital that I indulge in a few shots of espresso in my morning coffee? I suppose if it's daily. Caffeine; my drug of choice.

PLEASE VISIT FRANKIE.COM.AU
it's a super awesome australian magazine. it's basically a fusion of culture and crafty creations. you can subscribe to this magazine no matter what continent you're on since most of us don't have the splendid life of an australian. so for those of you that don't have the time, money or time or time to jet set clear across the world to the glorious world of australia, here's your fix.

looks like we're all getting our fix today. mine just happens to be copious amounts of caffeine.
good day, mate.

photography.

Sometimes i question soy. theoretically, i believe soy is actually crack. that would explain why i can't stop drinking it in large quantities.
hi and good morning. running was interesting this morning. i got nearly terrified mid-run as i found myself immersed in the glorious ghetto of waco. there were about 325 cats in the ally that i used as my cross street and i kept hearing ghosts. also known as the random air conditioners that i swear were trying to conversate with me. freaky.
funny thing. a couple of days ago whenever i was craving some banana loaves, a few moments after i posted that blog, i received a phonecall informing me that my beloved banana bread was waiting for me. strange.
the air conditioners must of heard me.
awesome thing-o-the day:

these photographs! aren't they incredible. i purposely put a period rather than a question mark. these pictures so effectively portray the raw soul of dancing. it's riveting.

all these photographs are by Rachel Papo.

Find more of her stuff at www.rachelpapo.com

have a splendid day dears.

wallpaper.

Contemplating whether to further my college or career or further my history of blog posts, i decided to settle with the latter. subsequently, as i furiously type away at my keyboard at the library on campus, all the busy bees around me think the hum is from my ever-flowing dilligence. oh procrastination.

so today i am infatuated with wallpaper. i know, i just sounded

like a 43 year old soccer mom. but this wallpaper is insane. don't lie. it's by a german artist called Eno Henze. He did this mural wallpaper for the Maxalot Gallery. so inspirational. let's paper our walls with it, further procrastinating the gigantic logic exam i have tomorrow. bleh. time to go back to work and act mature for the first time in a long time. adios.

betsey walton.

Good morning comrades. Just got back from a treacherous run. I hate humidity. End-o-Story.

Everyone has preferences. Why is that some people find Dane Cook hilarious and others consider him the spawn of satan? Preferences. Same reason why there is no such thing as universal beauty. Everyone has their own idea of beautiful that embodies their perfect person. So singles out there, no worries. Someone is going to find you the funniest, the prettiest and the greatest human on the earth even if no one else seems to agree with them. Now the tricky part is reciprocating the feelings. However--eventually, everyone finds their -est.

Oh and please stop feeling sorry for yourself if you have yet to find that someone. Chances are that even if you do, you'll screw up it because you've been so damn depressed about it for the last 32 years. No one else wants to hang out with you when you're acting like a little bitch.

Check out this awesome art. Makes me feel like floating through some kaleidoscope sea. Her name is Betsy Walton and she rocks. Google her and stalk her other artwork. Who needs LSD when you have octagons floating through a vine entrenched ocean wonderland?

Greetings.

I'm really craving some banana bread. So if you happen to be harboring some warm banana loaves in your pantry, send one my way. Please and gracias mis amigos. Spanglish, yes.

Do yourself a favor. Grab a Iced Chai Tea, add a bit-o-soy and settle down with Peter Carey's Oscar and Lucinda

Tomorrow's post will contain some delicious links for viewing pleasure. Tomorrow. Today my words will have to suffice. Have a zesty day.
